RainMen USA Inc., a manufacturer and importer of high-quality umbrellas, has signed a long-term lease for more than 52,000 square feet of space at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ industrial complex in Norwood, N.J. The lease marks the umbrella manufacturer’s headquarters relocation from Northvale, N.J.

The transaction was negotiated by Mitch Helfman of MRH Real Estate Services on behalf of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. Hal Lichtenstein of Cassidy Turley represented the tenant.

The six-building Norwood portfolio is located at 335, 355, 375 and 385 Chestnut Street, and 10 and 50 Maple Street.

RainMen USA Inc. is consolidating its current two-building operations into one building at 10 Maple Street, and increasing its footprint by 15,000 square feet, according to Frank C. Pratt, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ vice president of leasing and marketing. “The Norwood portfolio represents some of the best industrial space in Bergen County. We are making it even better for RainMen USA Inc. by undertaking building enhancements to help meet their long-term business requirements,” said Pratt. “Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ ability as a property owner to make these types of improvements was an added advantage to the tenant.”

RainMen USA Inc. is a domestic manufacturer and importer of high-quality umbrellas and accessories for the promotional products industry. The company is known for its folding, golf, fashion and outdoor umbrellas, as well as pop-up tents, outdoor furniture, portable chairs and other tailgating merchandise.

Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Norwood industrial portfolio is located near The Palisades Interstate Parkway; Route 9W; the New York State Thruway; and George Washington and Tappan Zee bridges. Recent building upgrades include new office windows, new front awnings and loading dock improvements.
