TITLE Boxing Club Inks Lease at Summit Plaza in Hackensack

Hackensack, NJ |

Fitness franchise TITLE Boxing Club has leased 4,000 square feet at Summit Plaza in Hackensack. The 100,000-square-foot Bergen County shopping center is owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.

Stephanie Greco of The Greco Realty Group negotiated the lease on behalf of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. Roy Paret of The Goldstein Group represented the tenant.

“Tenants are attracted to Summit Plaza’s impressive demographics,” said Greco.  “The density and affluence of the residential population, coupled with a tremendous daytime population, were added advantages to this franchise owner. More people are looking to stay fit today than ever before, and kickboxing workouts are gaining in popularity with both men and women alike. TITLE Boxing Club will serve a broad cross section of local consumers and represents an outstanding new addition to Summit Plaza.”

TITLE Boxing Club offers total-body boxing and kickboxing fitness workouts that burn up to 1,000 calories per hour in group classes. Perfect for men and women of all ages and fitness levels, workouts combine no-hit boxing and kickboxing techniques with cardio and toning exercises. TITLE Boxing Club locations include free weights, treadmills and elliptical machines; available one-on-one personal training; and retail sales of apparel and equipment.

“We plan to offer about 40 different fitness classes per week at this location designed to accommodate our members’ busy schedules,” said Robert Curtis, principal owner. “Summit Plaza is a destination shopping center with a co-tenancy and location that were very attractive to us. Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ reputation as a hands-on property owner and manager also was a factor in our decision to choose Summit Plaza. We are excited to introduce the TITLE Boxing Club brand to those who live and work in the community.”

Located at 370-380 West Pleasantview Ave. at the intersection of Route 17, Summit and West Pleasantview avenues, Summit Plaza is anchored by a 62,000-square-foot Super Stop & Shop. The center’s tenants include Great Expressions Dental Centers, United Tae Kwon Do Center, Juicy Platters, Harmon Cosmetics, GNC, Payless ShoeSource, RadioShack, Dress Barn, The UPS Store and Blimpie, as well as typical neighborhood services such as a dry cleaner and a pizzeria.

Summit Plaza is located in the heart of Route 17’s retail corridor near Routes 4, 46 and 80, and surrounded by 14 towns within a three-mile radius. The center serves a growing residential population of more than 100,000 people within a two-mile radius and a daytime population of more than 66,000 people within the same two miles. The marketplace offers a median household income of about $80,000.

One 1,200-square-foot retail space remains available at Summit Plaza.

“The addition of TITLE Boxing Club reflects our continued focus to make Summit Plaza a ‘one-stop shopping’ destination,” said Jerry L. Barta, vice-president/director of leasing and marketing for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “TITLE Boxing Club is the perfect complement to the center’s existing lineup of retail, service and food-oriented tenants, and we expect them to enjoy tremendous success here.”
