PRIME RETAIL SPACE AVAILABLE AT SUMMIT PLAZA IN HACKENSACK, N.J.

Hackensack, NJ |

Three prime retail spaces are available for immediate occupancy at Summit Plaza in Hackensack, N.J. The 100,000-square-foot retail complex, located at 370-380 W. Pleasantview Ave., is owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.

“SummitPlaza is well-maintained, highly visible and easily accessible to Route 17, presenting an incredible opportunity for a wide range of retail tenants,” said Jennifer Sofia of Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, exclusive leasing agent for SummitPlaza. Cushman & Wakefield currently is marketing availabilities ranging from 1,540 square feet to 4,181 square feet. One retail space includes a fully built-out kitchen ideal for a food concept tenant, Sofia said.

Located at the intersection of Route 17, Summit and Pleasantview Avenues near Routes 4, 46 and 80, SummitPlaza is anchored by a recently expanded 62,000-square-foot Super Stop & Shop. The high-profile center boasts a diverse mix of nationally recognized service and retail tenants including Harmon Cosmetics, GNC, Payless ShoeSource, Radio Shack, Dress Barn, the UPS Store and GameStop.

An adjacent shopping center, anchored by another supermarket, creates a substantial amount of additional daily vehicular traffic at SummitPlaza and further enhances its strategic location to prospective tenants, according to Jerry L. Barta, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ vice president and director of leasing and marketing.

“This is a classic neighborhood shopping center surrounded by a growing residential housing base and anchored by one the dominant supermarkets in the Northern New Jersey marketplace,” said Barta. “SummitPlaza’s prominent location in the heart of Route 17’s retail corridor, excellent daily consumer traffic and strong demographics all contribute to its appeal.”
