NAPOLEON/LYNX LEASES SPACE AT ALFRED SANZARI ENTERPRISES-OWNED MEADOWLANDS INDUSTRIAL PORTFOLIO

Hackensack, NJ |

Napoleon/Lynx, a world leader in the manufacturing, distribution and marketing of garage doors and related components, has leased 32,022 square feet of industrial/warehouse space at 25 Empire Boulevard in South Hackensack, N.J. Located in the Meadowlands submarket, the industrial property is part of a nine-building warehousing and distribution complex owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises of Hackensack, N.J.

The transaction was negotiated by Chris Hile, Blake Chroman and Jenna Imperatore of Jones Lang LaSalle on behalf of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. Tom Palestina of Palestina Scrivo Properties Inc. represented the tenant.

The Archbold, Ohio-based company is relocating to 25 Empire Boulevard from its current manufacturing facility in Paterson, N.J. Empire Boulevard is well located near Routes 17, 46 and 80, the New Jersey Turnpike and Teterboro Airport. With its superior highway access and proximity to Manhattan, the Meadowlands submarket is an ideal setting for a wide range of industrial tenants.

“We continue to see solid interest in the Meadowlands market from a broad range of manufacturing and distribution tenants,” said Jerry L. Barta, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ vice-president/director of leasing and marketing. “Empire Boulevard’s location and ease of access to major roadways made it particularly attractive to this tenant. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Napoleon/Lynx in fulfilling their long-term facility requirements.”

Privately owned for more than 25 years, Napoleon/Lynx is a leader in the manufacturing, distribution and marketing of garage doors, and garage door hardware and components. Its product line includes springs, sectional doors, tracks and openers. The company’s North American manufacturing space totals more than 500,000 total square feet with additional facilities in Canada and Phoenix, Arizona. Napoleon/Lynx has distributors in more than 40 countries.

“We have been in our Paterson location since 1987 but simply outgrew the space,” said John T. Schram, vice-president of Napoleon/Lynx. “We wanted to stay in Northern New Jersey, and 25 Empire Boulevard was the perfect fit to meet our current needs and accommodate our future growth.”
