Glenpointe Announces Return of Clothing Manufacturer to its Iconic Teaneck, N.J. Campus

Teaneck, N.J. |

Alfred Sanzari Enterprises-owned Glenpointe announces it has negotiated a new lease with former tenant, Leeward International, to bring the clothing and manufacturer back to its iconic campus located at 300/400/500 Frank W. Burr Boulevard in Teaneck, N.J.

Formerly a Glenpointe tenant for over five years, Leeward International moved out of the complex to consolidate their office and warehousing needs into a larger flex space. As their space needs once again shifted, Leeward International chose to move part of its operations back to Glenpointe due to their longstanding relationship with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, which developed, owns and manages the campus. The property’s superior accessibility, proximity to Leeward International’s Manhattan location, and recent capital improvements also factored heavily into their decision to return.

“The long-standing relationships we have with all our tenants combined with the life cycle ownership of assets like Glenpointe have enabled us to create a tenant experience unlike any other,” said Jerry Barta, Vice President and Director of Leasing and Marketing for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “It’s very rare that a tenant chooses to return to a property after relocating but our unique approach to ownership ensures that we are a trusted partner in each stage of our tenants’ business journeys. Leeward International was confident that the flexibility and reliability of Glenpointe would once again serve as an ideal environment to help them meet their business goals and support them throughout their expansion.”

“As a former tenant of five plus years, we enjoyed our time very much at Glenpointe,” said Soo Kim, Controller, Leeward International. “There are many reasons we decided to return to the complex, including its proximity and easy access to New York City, the campus’ beautiful and clean atmosphere and the friendly and accommodating staff at Glenpointe. Having had such a positive experience working with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises previously, we were confident returning to Glenpointe would be the right move to support our current and future space needs.”

Barta added, “We are pleased to welcome Leeward International back to Glenpointe and provide them with the reliability and superior service they have come to expect from Alfred Sanzari Enterprises while also giving them the opportunity to enjoy the recent capital improvements and unique amenities that have made this such an exciting time for the complex.”

Located only miles from New York City, Glenpointe features proximity to all local airports and major thoroughfares including the Garden State Parkway, Palisades Interstate Parkway and Routes 4 and 46. Glenpointe also includes the 26,000-square-foot Glenpointe Spa and Fitness Center, a cafeteria, a restaurant, a wine bar, a lounge, abundant covered parking, 24/7 security and a variety of other services. In addition to the office space and amenities, the Glenpointe complex also boasts 700 hotel rooms in the attached Marriott at Glenpointe and the recently opened, dual-branded Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites at Glenpointe across the street.

Recently undergoing a robust capital improvement strategy, the Glenpointe campus has been significantly revamped with upgraded furniture, Wi-Fi and lighting fixtures throughout its common areas, creating a modern and welcoming experience for tenants and guests. Additionally, Glenpointe completely overhauled its outdoor amenity space, The Green, with new stonework, seating areas and greenery surrounding its iconic fountain, which creates an outdoor oasis for tenants.

In addition to extensive campus-wide upgrades, Glenpointe also recently introduced a technology-driven tenant engagement strategy through its partnership with Better Spaces, which provides tenants with a community lounge, “The Pointe,” and other shared spaces accessible via the Better Spaces app. The app also gives tenants access to a robust schedule of programming curated by a full-time, on-site community management staff, with activities ranging from ping pong tournaments to yoga classes, art shows, chair massages and nature hikes. Further bolstering Glenpointe’s amenity offerings is Fooda, a pop-up food service that gives tenants the opportunity to sample a different local restaurant each day without ever having to leave the campus.
