Amedisys Inc. Signs Lease at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Court Plaza South in Hackensack, N.J.

Amedisys Inc., a leading home health and hospice care provider, has leased 13,000 square feet at Court Plaza South in Hackensack for regional office and administrative purposes, announced Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, owner and manager of the Class A office complex.

The transaction was negotiated by Colliers International NJ LLC on behalf of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. Rob Wolfle of Swearingen Real Estate Group LLC represented the tenant.

“Court Plaza’s all-inclusive environment is attractive to companies of all sizes. Amedisys Inc. chose Court Plaza in order to upgrade their image and take advantage of the numerous on-site amenities this premier office complex has to offer,” said Brian Cass, senior managing director of Colliers International NJ LLC. “Stable on-site property ownership and management were added advantages to the tenant.”

Amedisys Inc. is relocating to Court Plaza South from another Hackensack office location. The move allows Amedisys Inc. to better serve its clients throughout the region, and accommodates the firm’s rapid and projected growth, according to Rhoda Stevens, the company’s vice president of operations.

Headquartered in Baton Rouge, La., Amedisys Inc. delivers personalized home health and hospice care to approximately 380,000 patients each year, and is a post-acute care partner to more than 2,233 hospitals and 61,900 physicians across the country. The company is focused on delivering the best care for its patients, including home-based recovery and rehabilitation services, chronic disease management, palliative care for those with a terminal illness and end-of-life hospice care.

The 335,000-square-foot Court Plaza office complex encompasses Court Plaza North, Court Plaza South and Court Plaza East. All tenants enjoy an extensively landscaped plaza with fountains and seating areas, ample covered parking, a full-service bank, shoe shine/repair and dry cleaning services, eco-friendly car wash service, a fitness center, public transportation to New York City and Northern New Jersey, a cafeteria with indoor and outdoor seating, and a common meeting room. As the headquarters location for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, Court Plaza is just one mile from Routes 4 and 17, and I-80. The complex is located near shops, restaurants and other area conveniences.

Colliers International NJ LLC currently is marketing space availabilities at Court Plaza ranging from 450 square feet to 50,000 square feet.
