Alfred Sanzari Enterprises Holding Annual ‘Giving Thanks Food Drive’

HACKENSACK, N.J. |

Alfred Sanzari Enterprises is helping to make the holidays brighter for community members in need by hosting its annual “Giving Thanks Food Drive.” The real estate development and operating company is working in conjunction with The Second Reformed Church in Hackensack. Under the guidance of Pastor Don McCracken, the church provides the City’s homeless with nutritious dinners twice each week.

Non-perishable donations will be accepted through Fri., Nov. 17 at four of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ Bergen County properties: the lobbies of Court Plaza North and South (25 and 21 Main Street, Hackensack), the lobby of Heights Plaza (777 Terrace Ave., Hasbrouck Heights), the lobby of Elmwood Park Plaza (475 Market Street, Elmwood Park) and the lobby of The Ivanhoe (130 Overlook Ave., Hackensack).

Those wishing to donate but who are unable to deliver items to the above locations, please e-mail Erin Mays at erinmays@localhost for assistance.

Suggested donations include canned meats (including tuna and salmon), peanut butter, jelly (no glass jars), canned or dry soups, canned stews and chili, tea bags, ground coffee, pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, hot and cold cereal, rice, cake and pancake mix, syrup, powdered milk, packaged pasta meals (macaroni and cheese, etc.), juice boxes and canned juice, canned beans, Spam, canned gravy, granulated sugar, baby food and cereal (glass jars accepted), baby formula, granola and cereal bars, along with other non-perishable food items.
