Leica Camera, Inc. Celebrates Grand Opening of its New North American Headquarters at Glenpointe
Weekend of events begins next chapter in the camera brand’s storied history
Alfred Sanzari Enterprises is proud to announce the successful opening of Leica Camera, Inc.’s 12,274-square-foot North American headquarters at its iconic Glenpointe corporate campus, located at 500 Frank W. Boulevard in Teaneck, N.J.
Founded in 1869, Leica Camera, Inc. is an international, premium manufacturer of cameras and sports optics dedicated to the advancement of photography. The legendary reputation of the Leica brand is built upon a long tradition of excellent quality and innovative technologies paired with renowned German craftsmanship and industrial design. Leica Camera Inc. is also committed to growing the global photography community through its Leica Galleries; the Leica Akademie, a renowned global photography education program; and a wide range of award programs including the Leica Oskar Barnack Award, which is considered one of the world’s most prestigious photography awards.
Relocating from its previous North American headquarters in Allendale, N.J., Leica Camera’s new home at Glenpointe seamlessly combines an office, showroom and repair facility into one space. The office includes ample working spaces for the company’s employees who work from the office each day as well as an equipment repair facility staffed by Leica’s award-winning repair team. In a nod to Leica’s highly sought-after cameras, the office also boasts a camera display showroom. Beyond its own space, Leica’s presence is also felt in the shared hallways outside of the office through the display of prints from Leica Camera’s global network of professional and amateur photographers.

On Thursday, April 20, the grand opening celebration began with a welcome reception where attendees from across the globe were invited to tour Leica’s new space and speak with its leadership about the move to Glenpointe. Aiming to build on the excitement of the week, Leica also hosted its annual Leica Society International Spring Conference at the Glenpointe Marriot from April 21-23. The program welcomed hundreds of Leica enthusiasts worldwide to enjoy an unparalleled lineup of artists and events that celebrated the iconic brand and its cameras.
