The Alfred N. Sanzari Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to improving communities across northern New Jersey, is approaching the close of its second grant application period. Established in 2006 to carry on the legacy of Alfred N. Sanzari, founder of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, the Foundation promotes and supports a wide range of causes across northern New Jersey. It offers two grant cycles each year, with awards ranging from $500 to $10,000.

Reflecting the values of Alfred and his family, the Foundation prioritizes healthcare initiatives, particularly those focused on patient care and Parkinson’s disease, local education programs, and services that assist disadvantaged populations, including shelters, housing, and programs for women and children in need. Since its founding, the Foundation has donated more than $2 million to organizations throughout northern New Jersey and surrounding communities.
