Brian Kosa of Sparta has been named the new general manager of Glenpointe Spa & Fitness in Teaneck. Located at 200 Frank W. Burr Blvd., the 26,000-square-foot health and fitness facility is part of the landmark Glenpointe complex, one of northern New Jersey’s foremost mixed-use developments. Glenpointe was developed and is owned by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises of Hackensack.

Kosa brings more than 27 years of significant fitness industry experience to his new position. Prior to joining Glenpointe Spa & Fitness, he led successful health and fitness facilities in New Jersey, Illinois and Indiana as a general manager, owner and operator. Kosa earned a bachelor’s degree in commercial recreation from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.

Glenpointe Spa & Fitness features an indoor heated swimming pool, a full fitness center with a wide selection of cardiovascular and strength training equipment. The facility offers personal training, private swim classes, a dedicated cycling studio and spacious locker rooms with free towel service. A full range of spa services includes massage treatments, facials and waxing, among others.

Members can choose from about 60 group exercise classes each week, including Zumba, PiYO, Power Sculpt and Pilates, as well as yoga and aqua fitness for those who desire a less strenuous workout. Free childcare is available in the facility’s Kids Club, and parents can book the pool for private swim lessons or birthday parties. Additional on-site amenities include saunas, Jacuzzis, steam rooms and an outdoor sunbathing deck.
